The road to the 2021 WMF Women's World Cup starts this week in Texas as the USA567 Women's National Team starts competition with three exhibition games, Friday, June 25 in Houston, Saturday, June 26 in Austin, and Sunday June 27 in San Antonio. The US will face Mexico in all three games.

The first ever WMF Women's World Cup will be held August 12-15 in Kyiv, Ukraine. It will also mark the first tournament for the nascent USA567 Women's national program.

The majority of players will be selected from the Premier Arena Soccer League's women's division. Despite being an amateur league, the PASL is the highest level national league of women's small-sided soccer in the country.

"Part of this process is to see how each player does playing with different players, possibly with a different game plan, possibly in a different position," said Head Coach Craig Rhodis, "Having three opportunities with larger rosters makes this easier. This will serve as both a preparation and an evaluation to make the tough decisions of who will be going to Ukraine."
