The USA567 Men's Soccer Team will hit the turf once again after being displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic for almost two years. The US will host Guatemala on July 9, 10, and 11 in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, respectively.
Guatemala will be led on the turf by Mario "El Loco" Rodriguez, who has 78 caps on Guatemala's outdoor national team and has played in MLS for the Columbus Crew. Off the field Guatemala is coached by Pablo Melgar, who has earned 55 caps of his own internationally.
Guatemala hosted the 2018 Pan Am Cup and finished in second place, losing to Chile in the Final.
The US team will look to shake off rust after a long layoff with an eye toward the WMF World Cup, which was pushed back to 2022.
