The American Association of Soccer 5-6-7 (AAS567) today unveiled a new national team logo to reflect the expanded role the US men's and women's teams play in the many forms of small-sided soccer under the World Minifootball Federation's umbrella.
The American international program debuted as the US National Arena Soccer Team in 2008, but has since competed in international WMF six-a-side events since 2017. When teams compete in soon-to-be-announced upcoming international events they will sport the new USA Soccer567 logo.
This summer, the US men's and women's teams will embark on an arena soccer barnstorming tour starting June 25 and running through the month of July to prepare for the upcoming tournaments.
"Arena soccer is the dominant small-sided sport in North America, but as part of a global organization, we want to expand our horizons and compete in all disciplines of minifootball," said AAS567 President Kevin Milliken. "We have some exciting announcements coming up about some big competitions in which we'll be competing for the first time."
The American Association of Soccer 5-6-7 (AAS567) is the officially recognized United States federation sanctioned by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). Our confederation within WMF is the Pan American Minifootball Federation (PAMF). AAS567's mission statement is to make it simple for players, coaches, teams, clubs, and leagues to organize small sided games of soccer 5, 6, and 7-a-side, and arena soccer, locally in the United States. Our federation then provides those local teams and players opportunities to play in National and International competitions either through our national teams, or national and international competitions for teams and clubs.
