Louisville, KY, September 21, 2022 - Metro Louisville FC has formally accepted an invitation to the Pam Am Club Cup 2022 after celebrating their second straight PASL National Championship and subsequent US Open Arena Soccer Championship earlier this year.
After putting together a number of victories in recent weeks, including a win over NISA side Chattanooga FC, the momentum continues to flow for “Louisville’s best kept secret”. Slated to compete in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup for 2022-2023, MLFC continues to venture into uncharted territory. This time, we’re headed to Acapulco, Mexico on October 26-30 to compete against teams from Mauritania (Africa), Guatemala, and Mexico.
Currently sitting atop the KY-TN Division within UPSL at 3-0-0, MLFC is preparing for a monstrous Fall and Winter, featuring a mixture of Open Cup, UPSL, and PASL action, and a potential unannounced friendly. “That’s not half bad for a team of underdogs, right?” says Derrick Davis, General Manager and CBO of MLFC.
Given the potential logistics involved, an announcement for streaming or broadcasting Pam Am Club Cup 2022 is pending. More information will be available soon.
